Assa Abloy ITG to supply paper contactless tickets
The tickets are based on NXP Mifare Ultralight technology. They will be available in three product families:
- “Smart Ride” is a cost-efficient ticket for single use,
- “Smart Trip” a high quality ticket for limited use,
- “Smart Journey” a premium product for multiple use.
The tickets are available with coil wound and etched antenna designs. Using the Mifare command set, the tickets are ISO standard compliant and work at a transmission rate of 106kbit/sec. The reading distance is up to 10 centimeters.
