Collis acquires the test tools division of Aspects Software
This acquisition will reinforce Collis expertise in the GSM and 3G technology markets. Dirk Jan van de Heuvel declared "Aspects tools brings us a well established name in the industry and a good customer base. It is also a strategic move as with the combination of finance and telecom expertise, we will now develop contactless and NFC training, test tools, and more globally expertise". With this acquisition, Collis passes the 100 employees mark.
Test tools of the mobile communication and smart card industries were the original business of Aspects Software. Collis employs 70 people, is headquartered in Leiden in the Netherlands, and recently opened its first subsidiary, in Singapore.
