Eastcompeace supplies large SIMs to China Mobile

The card supplied to China Mobile is 128MB, with dual interface and multi-application mode; it also supports China Mobile’s existing OTAII & OTA III as well as SIM authentication mechanism. The fist card have been delivered at the end of September.

Created in 1998, Eastcompeace has become one of the major Chinese smart card vendors. Sales in 2006 reached CNY 539 million (EUR 50 million), and the company net profit was CNY 21 million (EUR 1.9 million). The company is listed on Shenzhen stock exchange. Eastcompeace claims a 100 million smart cards production capacity, along with 500 million scratch cards and 20 million contactless cards capacities.
