Who invented photography? The answer is not as trivial as one may think in the first place. The French believe Nicephore Niepce invented photographic processes, while the British attribute the invention to Fox Talbot. Actually, both inventors performed research at the same time, and reached the same discovery, at more or less the same period, without communicating with each other.
