From contactless to invisibility
The Covid health crisis has made us go contactless to an extent never envisioned before. The various lockdowns have transformed social beings into isolated bodies, communicating only through the means of screens, internet connections, etc… This move has had a huge positive impact on our industry. In payment, markets that were on a slow evolutionary trend from contact cards to dual-interface cards have suddenly accelerated and turned into a super-fast evolution path to contact

Consent is key
Never in a trade show dedicated to payments, like Money20/20 Europe, has there been so many ID specialists! At a time when we are setting up future digital ID systems, especially when the EU is in the process of designing its European Digital Wallet, there is a lot of discussions on the junction between physical and digital ID. The European project is built on good intentions: give back to citizens control of each piece of their ID, not only their name, date of birth, etc.… b

We all know that a good project starts with a good definition of needs and objectives. This was the theme of a conference on the European Digital Identity project, especially the future European ID Wallet. The European Commission wishes to establis

There is no smooth path to innovation!
This week the International Security Forum happens in Lille, France, along with the ID Forum as a side conference. This is a great opportunity to reconnect in real life after a too long period on online exchanges. Of course, the interactions between government identity and digital identity are at the core of debates. Even if we all expect an innovation process to follow a smooth path with a combination of technology developments and implementations, we have to admit some even
